Fortaleza Tequila Reposado
750 mL | 40% ABV (80 Proof) | Reposado Tequila | Tequila Los Abuelos, NOM 1493 | Aged ~7–9 Months in American Oak
Process & Profile
Fortaleza Reposado is crafted in the lowlands of Jalisco at Tequila Los Abuelos using time-honored methods. The agave is slow-roasted in brick ovens, crushed with a traditional tahona wheel, and fermented in open-air wooden tanks. After double distillation in copper pot stills, the tequila is aged for approximately 7 to 9 months in used American oak barrels. This short resting period allows the spirit to pick up a gentle oak influence while preserving the core identity of the agave.
